Families of victims killed by drunk drivers brought jarring physical evidence – the vehicle wrecked by a DUI offender – to the Capitol to demonstrate the need to prevent people from driving drunk. They joined Senator Jerry Hill, Mothers Against Drunk Driving representatives and law enforcement partners in a news conference to urge passage of Hill’s SB 1046. Senator Hill, Patient Safety Advocates & Consumers Union Call for Support of SB 1033

Victims of botched treatment and other severe medical errors join Senator Jerry Hill and representatives of the Consumers Union Safe Patient Project in a news conference in the state Capitol to call for support of Hill's Senate Bill 1033 and display examples of the notice that patients would receive from a doctor on probation for serious offenses under the legislation. Victims of dubious doctors say advance notice could have saved them or their loved ones from severe injuries and, in at least one case, death.
