Dear Friends,

Because of the ongoing federal government shutdown, Cal Fresh benefits (also known as SNAP) could end as soon as November 1st. This means thousands of families in District 13 could lose the assistance they rely on to put food on the table.

That's why my District Office is organizing an emergency food drive to support those in need. I am inviting you to help our most vulnerable communities by donating what you can. Starting today and continuing until these benefits are restored, you can drop off non-perishable food donations Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at:
