CA Budget Town Hall: what it means for the state and region

We just passed a historic budget with absolutely groundbreaking investments in education, homelessness, wildfire preparation and much more.
And I worked with my colleagues to secure money directly for affordable housing, early childhood education and job training right here in our community.
How did it happen? This was my first budget process and it was fascinating.
