April is Earth Month! My office is excited to share two upcoming opportunities to protect and connect with the beautiful environment we call home in Senate District 13. 

“Our Land, Our Coast, Our Future” Virtual Town Hall

On Thursday, April 9th, I will be hosting a virtual town to explore California’s 30x30 initiative, an ambitious effort to conserve 30% of our lands and coastal waters by 2030. We will be joined by an exceptional panel: 

  • Annie Burke - Executive Director, Together Bay Area
  • Gordon Clark - President, Peninsula Open Space Trust
  • Kellyx Nelson - Executive Director, San Mateo Resource Conservation District
  • Madeline Drake - Assistant Secretary for Biodiversity and Habitat, California Natural Resources Agency
