(Pacific Tribune) --State senator Josh Becker presented his first “State of the 13th Senate District” speech in a live broadcast Monday evening.
In the presentation, Becker summarized his priorities, legislative achievements and areas of continuing challenges. He urged residents of the district to become involved in efforts to solve the problems confronting the state and local areas.
Becker announced that he will continue his “There Ought to Be a Law” competition, inviting residents to submit their latest ideas for new legislation to his office by Jan. 8 so that — should a worthy suggestion appear — he can draft a bill to introduce in the spring session.
