California Senate President Toni Atkins Tuesday appointed state Sen. Josh Becker, D-Menlo Park, chair of the newly created Subcommittee on the Clean Energy Future.




Sierra Sun Times: Senate Resolution 47, authored by Senator Andreas Borgeas was unanimously approved by the California State Senate on September 7th. Twenty-nine members of the California State Senate co-authored SR 47, [including] Josh Becker. 




NBC Bay Area: This year, Deborah Carlino’s fifth-grade class brought their idea to their State Senator, Josh Becker. He was the one who introduced the resolution in the state Senate to make Ruby Bridges Day a statewide event. “They inspired me…these kids heard Ruby’s story. They were inspired by it and they acted on it.”

InMenlo: Due to the pandemic Parker Brown’s Boy Scout Troop 206 isn’t currently holding group activities. But Parker’s family and friends gathered last Sunday in his Menlo Oaks backyard for his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Among those honoring Parker was state senator Josh Becker.
