SPAM BAN Say good-bye to spam calls and junk mail by having online personal information wiped out under ‘delete’ act

Data breaches compromise the sensitive information of millions every year; a new California law seeks to change that.

Under the state’s Delete Act, more than 300,000 people will be given the option to have their personal data deleted from the internet.

Starting August 1, data brokers will have to delete the information; according to California Sen. Josh Becker, nearly 600 of them will be implicated.
