Dear Friends,
As we know, our communities are not immune from fire danger. Fortunately, our local fire agencies and community organizations have been preparing for years.
Please join me on Tuesday, February 18 at 5:00 p.m. for a virtual town hall with Kimberly Giuliacci, Woodside Fire Protection District Fire Marshal and Seth Schalet, CEO of the Santa Clara County Fire Safe Council to talk about what has been done, ongoing efforts, and how you can get involved.
We will be discussing fire preparedness strategies such as home hardening and creating defensible space, collaborating with neighbors to reduce risks to our neighborhoods, and what we have learned from recent fires. We will also touch upon the use of new technology and AI for wildfire detection and mitigation.
I hope you’ll join me for this important conversation. To RSVP, click here.
Sincerely,
Josh Becker
